About

The Production Wellness House is a safe haven for talented and creative individuals involved in television, film, and theatre productions. Here, we prioritize the well-being of individuals by providing a supportive and nurturing environment. Our dedicated Production Therapists, licensed mental health professionals, are committed to creating safe spaces where creative minds can find the assistance they need.

Production Therapists work tirelessly to foster mental health and wellness strategies tailored for the unique challenges of the creative community. Together, we can cultivate resilience and promote healing in an industry that often demands so much from its artists.

Leveraging their educational background and experience, they provide invaluable guidance to the production team, offering psycho-education on mental health language and conditions, wellness coaching, and emotional support throughout the entire production journey—pre-production, on-set, and post-production.

Our Services

All of our services are tailored to meet each client's unique needs. Below are key areas of focus for Production Therapists, though the list is not exhaustive:

1. Interpersonal Conflict: Providing strategies to navigate and resolve conflicts in professional and personal relationships, enhancing communication and understanding.

2. Performance Anxiety: Managing anxiety related to performance settings, whether it's on stage, in meetings, or during interviews, enabling them to perform confidently.

3. Imposter Syndrome: Addressing feelings of self-doubt and inadequacy that can arise despite evident success, fostering self-acceptance, and helping clients recognize their achievements.

4. De-rolling (Detachment): Assisting actors and performers in transitioning  out of their roles to maintain emotional well-being and guiding clients through techniques to safely detach after performances.

5. Activation Assessment: Conducting assessments to determine a client's level of emotional and physical activation, enabling us to tailor strategies that promote optimal functioning.

6. Distress Tolerance Skills: Teaching strategies for coping with intense emotions and crises, helping clients build resilience and improve emotional regulation.
